She won $2,000 and the fourth prize in the Stradivari International Competition in Salt Lake City;
won $6,000 in Musical Merit Auditions;
won 1st Prize and $2,500 in Rancho Bernardo Chorale Competition and gave a solo recital at the Organ Pavilion in Balboa Park on July 15th.
Jasmine Wang performed Tchaikovsky Concerto with San Diego Youth Symphony.

Francesca Dego recorded all 24 caprices by Paganini for Deutsche Grammophon

Announcing the 2011 Fischoff Competition Winners
NOTRE DAME, IN (May 16, 2011) - Out of 48 competing ensembles from across the nation and around the world, the Calidore String Quartet has won the coveted Grand Prize of the 2011 Fischoff National Chamber Music Competition ($7,500.00) and the Gold Medal ($3,000.00) in the Senior String Division. Woodwind quintet The City of Tomorrow captured the Gold Medal ($3,000.00) in the Senior Wind Division. In addition to prize money, both ensembles will participate in a Winner's Tour of the Midwestern United States in October, and the Calidore String Quartet will perform several concerts in the Emilia Romagna Festival in Italy in 2012. Calidore members Pasha Tseitlin (violin), Jeffrey Myers (violin), Jeremy Berry (viola) and Estelle Choi (cello) currently study at the Colburn School, Los Angeles, California.

"Fantasy on old air of Japan "Sakura" is being recorded on KPBS by Orchestra Nova on 16th of November and will be aired on December 26th at 10:30 on KPBS.

Carolyn Lee won 1st place in The San Diego Youth
Symphony Concerto Competition and will play with them Bartok's
Concerto No. 2.
Alice Fang received 3rd place.
Annelle Gregory was
invited to join the Sphinx Chamber Orchestra on tour for 3
week in October. After the University of N.Y. the chamber
orchestra will give eleven concerts throughout the U.S.A.
including a Carnegie Hall performance.

October 18 Pasha performed at the Disney Hall with
the USC Symphony, Carl St. Clair conducting. As the concertmaster
of the USC Symphony he played cadenza solo in the Tower’s Violin
Concerto with an associate concertmaster of New York
Philharmonic Michelle Kim
(alumna of IMF).
